Best memory from 2004 race season: My favorite memory is watching Mark Poore washing himself in the Ocoee river after a race and suddenly being washed away with the rapids. The miracle is he made it out alive. Eat enough before a race - Lest you bonk. Last year in the McNinnville race I did not get enough to eat before the race. About 5 miles before the finish I hit the wall. I suffered like a mad dog. I was seeing visions and they were not pretty. It will never happen again. Cannondale Six13 Avery Trace \endash Road; Tanasi Challenge - Mtn Bike My favorite ride is to descend Mill Creek Road to Hwy 84. This is a beautiful stretch of road. Once you get to hwy 84, turn right and ascend 3.5 miles to Monterey. This is one of my favorite climbs. |
