Best memory from 2004 race season: The team helping me do well in the Lieper’s Fork race. It was great for everyone on the team to want me to do well. Hardest lesson ever learned on a bike: When I am suffering, everyone else is suffering, too. You have to dig deep and hang on. Once you’re off the back of the pack it’s all over.
