A criterium ("crit" for short) is a closed circuit course on which bicycle racers compete in a timed event. Bring your family out to watch the races, and peruse booths set up by local vendors and cycling-related businesses.

The CRMC Criterium will also raise funds for charities, including the Police Athletic League, an organization that helps to make sporting activities available to underprivileged youth.

Don’t miss the Kid’s Fun Race! Bring your children and their bikes, and cheer them on as they make a lap on the racecourse, just like the pros!
Vendor booths. including food, will be located near the finish line.

The Professional Race takes place at 3:35 p.m. And two- to three-hundred competitors from Tennessee and the surrounding areas are expected to compete throughout the day for cash and prizes.

The CRMC Criterium race course is a half-mile loop including the courthouse square. Criteriums present a type of racing that is challenging and designed to bring out intense efforts by the racers. It also makes for an exciting, spectator-friendly show. Come on out, learn more about cycling, and show support for your community, local charities, and the racers!
